Pharmland Group — Terms & Conditions

1. About us

This website is operated by Pharmland Holdings Ltd, the holding company of the Pharmland group, registered in England and Wales (company number 17127589).

Each Pharmland pharmacy is owned and run by one of our group trading companies, listed below. When you use a pharmacy’s services, those services are provided by the company that owns that pharmacy. These terms apply to your use of this website and to the services our pharmacies provide through it. By using the website or our services, you agree to these terms.

Pharmland Ltd (registered in England and Wales, company number 06307519), which owns:

  • Verwood Pharmacy, Bank Court, 10 Manor Road, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 6DW — GPhC premises registration number 9012138 (pharmacy information)
  • Chiltern Pharmacy, Unit 1, Chiltern Drive, Verwood, Dorset, BH31 6US — GPhC premises registration number 1120586 (pharmacy information)

2. Professional judgement

All medicines are supplied by, or under the supervision of, a registered pharmacist. The pharmacist may ask you questions before supplying a medicine and may decline to supply it if they judge it is not safe or appropriate for you. Information on this website is general and does not replace advice from a healthcare professional. In an emergency call 999; for urgent medical advice call NHS 111.

3. Prescriptions and how your medicines are supplied

We dispense NHS and private prescriptions. Supply depends on us receiving a valid prescription and on stock being available from our suppliers; national shortages can occasionally cause delays.

Our pharmacies work together. Some medicines supplied by one of our pharmacies may be prepared, assembled, dispensed and labelled at another registered pharmacy in the group before being supplied to you. Where this applies, each pharmacy’s information page names the pharmacy involved and explains the arrangement.

4. Appointments and clinical services

Appointments for NHS and private services can be booked online through our booking system, provided by a third party, or by contacting the pharmacy. If you cannot attend, please let us know as early as possible so the appointment can be offered to someone else. Eligibility for some services is subject to clinical assessment on the day.

5. Delivery and MCA subscriptions

Our delivery service and MCA (monitored dosage system) subscriptions are paid for through our payment provider, Square. Delivery is subject to our separate delivery terms and conditions, available on each pharmacy’s delivery page.

An MCA subscription is a charge for the additional packaging and preparation involved in making up your medication in a monitored dosage system. It is not a charge for your medication, and does not affect how your medication is prescribed or supplied. Any NHS prescription charges that apply to you are separate.

6. Prices and payment

Prices shown on this website are correct at the time of publishing and may change from time to time. Card payments are processed securely by our payment provider; we do not store your card details.

7. Use of this website

We aim to keep this website accurate and up to date but cannot guarantee it will always be available or free from errors. This website links to services run by third parties (for example our booking and payment providers and the GPhC register); we are not responsible for their content or availability.

8. Our liability

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law. Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

9. Your privacy

Our privacy policy explains how we collect and use your personal information.

10. Feedback and complaints

We welcome your feedback. Please speak to the pharmacy team in the first instance. Details of how to make a complaint, and who else you can contact if you are not satisfied with our response, are on each pharmacy’s information page.

11. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms from time to time; the version on this website at the time you use our services applies. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
